Our Heritage Fireplace Mantels are the perfect option if you are looking for a custom fireplace mantel in a specific size and color for your space. Our mantels and high-quality, real wood. This mantel is natural and CLEARCOATED. The clearcoat does add a semigloss sheen and darkens the wood slightly.
Our Heritage Mantels are resawn, solid wood (Douglas Fir) and manufactured from one timber beam. These are NOT box beams. These fireplace mantels are real, solid wood. Because of the unique nature of wood, each mantel will vary slightly in terms of texture and appearance (visible knots, cracks, etc.)
The color of your fireplace mantel will look different depending on the lighting. Often times the wood finish/stain will look lighter in natural light and darker in a room with minimal natural light and/or artificial light. Please keep this in mind when viewing images.
Appearance may vary based on the uniqueness of each timber - we think this is what makes our mantels unique. Please take a moment to view some of our sample photos so you can see examples of wood variations, textures and character. The mantel you receive may have knots, holes, saw marks, natural blemishes, color variation, dents, etc.
