About Our Mantels
Often the center-point of a living space, the fireplace is where we gather to relax, cuddle up, and be with the ones we love. Our reclaimed wood fireplace mantels are handcrafted to bring a sense of warmth and history to your cherished space. These solid wood beams are salvaged from century-old barns and grain elevators in ND & MN. We then hand select the most unique pieces and meticulously tend to them until they are ready for their new home.
Like all of our products, our mantel lumber is kiln-dried. All mantel lengths can be trimmed to size, come pre-drilled to accept our floating bracket hardware, and are ready to install.
We offer a large inventory of in-stock and ready to ship wood fireplace mantels. We also accept custom orders as well as wholesale/bulk orders. Mantels ship free to the lower 48.
Reclaimed Rough-Sawn Rustic Mantels
Our most popular mantel style is our authentic, reclaimed mantel style. These are one-of-a-kind reclaimed mantels made from beams that have been salvaged from historic grain elevators and barns throughout the Midwest. These unique pieces will add character and warmth to your home. They are kiln-dried, hand sanded and ready to install. Available unfinished, clear coated or finished with a custom, in-house stain.
Homestead Hand-Hewn Mantels
We are thrilled to be able to repurpose stunning hand-hewn fireplace mantels for our customers across the country. Our one-of-a-kind hand-hewn mantels are entirely unique and are salvaged from some of the earliest homesteads and farms in North Dakota and Minnesota. They are full of charm and history and will hopefully last another century or more. They are kiln-dried, smooth-sanded, clear coated and ready to install. These are offered occasionally throughout the year, based on availability.
Reclaimed Re-Sawn Mantels
In addition to our reclaimed mantels we also offer re-sawn mantels. These are one-of-a-kind mantels typically made out of Minnesota pine or fir. These mantels are full of authentic characteristics which may include checking and twisting. They are kiln-dried, hand sanded and ready to install. We often stain these mantels using one of our custom stain finishes for a beautiful finished look.
Live-Edge Mantels
We occasionally offer live-edge mantels which feature a beautiful and unique live . raw edge on the face of the mantel. These mantels are typically sold unfinished or clear coated, but could also be stained.
