Our 1.75" thick Premium Hardwood Wood Floating Shelf Kits are available in three finish options to include our Natural Unfinished option, Natural Clearcoat and our very popular Stark finish. Hand-crafted from beautiful White Ash, they have a smooth top, bottom and face. Just choose your size and finish and we'll do the rest. We manufacture these from premium local hardwood and process them fully in house in Fargo, ND.
For a fast install, our shelf kits come with our innovative heavy duty floating shelf bracket rated at over 150lbs per shelf! The "90% solution” to the floating shelf problem of systems that are either too complicated, too expensive, or just plain flimsy. With a nearly unnoticeable spacing under ¼” from the wall, our solid steel brackets are cost-effective, bombproof (well nearly), and make for a 5 min install by any DIY’er.
Finishes:
Natural - A polyurethane clear coat applied to protect and enhance the natural beauty of the wood
Stark -An acid treatment applied over a mix of hardwood species that gives a wide range of colors to the end product. While we have an idea as to what the end result will be, ultimately, the wood and the acid have the final say in the colors produced. Considering that, we can never guarantee a specific color with our Stark finish. If that idea makes you nervous, this may not be the finish for you. Top coated with our polyurethane clear.
